Sammy is his name to his friends in Yorkshire, so it is hard to call him Michael. Pat and Sammy came  to live next door to us in1967, both our children where born there, Alan and Sammy spent a lot of time together building walls and patios in both gardens. We enjoyed many trips out in our Ford cortina estate with all the children in the back, which would not be alllowed today. After they moved to Derby we still visited them, and they also visited us. After the children were grown up we had some loveley holidays, just the four of us in Portugal.it has meant a lot to us to have them in our lives. Sammy will be sadly missed by us.
